Surrounded by countryside yet in easy reach of beaches and attractions. The main town of Newport is only three miles away. Ryde, with its pleasant beaches, is four miles. The ferry from Portsmouth to Fishbourne is just a five minute drive.
Woodland walks adjacent to the farm are a habitat for wildlife including Red Squirrels (who have been known to frequently join you for breakfast at Grange Farm) foxes, many birds and owls. You will see wild flowers, seasonally, including wild daffodils, primroses, violets and bluebells amongst just a few.
A paradise for walkers, country lovers, bird watchers & cyclists, with an aga ready to dry off clothing if needed. There are local forests for walking and horse riding close by, and a golf club at Ryde.
The local village of Wootton is one and a half miles away where there is a local pub by Wootton bridge, a Spar shop, a Fish and Chip shop, Chemist and Post Office. Also nearby is Queen Victoria's Osborne House, a popular Island attraction. There is a bus stop right at the end of the drive.
There is ample car parking space, a large area for ball games etc and barbecue facilities, as well as gardens to play in.
Every effort has been made to make your holiday very happy and I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
